Sweet Art recently had the privilege of styling a unique and very worthy event!
The teachers were honored with public recognition and lovely gifts, along with a special sweets table that Sweet Art was hired to style!
We ordered oodles of doughnuts from a favorite local bakery for this morningtime event, and then used yards of burlap and lace to create a rustic-vintage feel.
Floral buntings of green, yellow, and white helped the area to look festive and summery.
Doughnut holes were displayed in paper cones trimmed with lace…
…old-fashioned doughnuts sat in happy little stacks…
…glazed doughtnuts were lined up in neat little rows…
…along with mountains of every other kind of doughnut you can imagine!
What was not to love?! : )
Gorgeous summertime florals in mason jars and bright green potted plants gave the tables a lush garden feel.
So…want to know how we realized that the tables were a success? All of those doughnuts (and there were hundreds!) were gone in approximately 7 minutes flat. Devoured! And all that remained were crumbs…and crickets. : )
So much fun!!
A very big Thank You from us to Grace Presbyterian Church for this wonderful opportunity!
